Fish in onion

Peel 2 kg of onion and finely chop. Fry in oil adding a little bit of water. When the onions are golden and glassy, pour it into a shallow pan (which can go into an oven). Mix 1 cup of water, 2 spoons of flour, 1 spoon of red ground pepper and a little bit of Cayenne pepper (hot), a little bit of mint and pour it over the onions. Put fish fillets (already fried) on the top of the onion and put it in the oven to bake until nicely brown. Enjoy!



Fry 1 cup of oil and 2 cups of flour with constant mixing until the flour becomes caramel colour (be careful that it doesn’t burn). At the same time cook 2 cups of sugar with 4 cups of water. When it boils and becomes like a syrup, add some chopped walnuts, lemon juice and little bit of cinnamon.

Pour hot syrup to the fried flour carefully and quickly mix until it is united and you have a compact mass. Pour hot halva into a mold or make small balls with a spoon and put them on the plate. Cool it before you eat!
