From the 4-6th of November 2011 the YEN-Board had a meeting in Berlin. The location was chosen by the board and Éva Penzes (office) in order to get an overview of the city, the infrastructure and conditions, as we consider to establish an office of YEN in Berlin.
For this year’s Youth Leader Seminar from 14th to 20th October, the YEN was guest of the Sorbian youth organization PAWK in Bautzen / Budyšin. The local people lovingly call Bautzen „The city of many towers,“ and so we spent a week in a castle-like hostel in the old town.
Eine Delegation von 100 europäischen Jugendlichen aus allen EU-‐Mitgliedsländern war vom 8. bis zum 16. August 2011 zum EU-‐China Jugendforum nach Shenzhen in China. Darunter der 22-‐jährige Bozner Sebastian Seehauser, der als Präsident der Jugend Europäischer Volksgruppen beim Forum die europäischen Minderheiten vertreten hat.
Nach dem Vorbereitungstreffen im Juni, über das schon berichtet worden ist, fand vom 21. bis zum 28. August 2011 ein internationaler Austausch bei den Kaschuben in Ostrzyce nahe Gdansk statt.
Vom 13. bis zum 15. Mai trafen sich das alte und das neue Präsidiums der Jugend Europäischer Volksgruppen (JEV) in Budapest um die Posten, die damit verbundenen Aufgaben und Verantwortungen zu übergeben.
