The next EU long-term budget is being negotiated right now, and Erasmus+ must not become a casualty of it. Together with the Erasmus+ Coalition, 88 EU-level organisations representing over 6,200 member organisations, we are calling on national Finance and Foreign/European Affairs Ministers to keep Erasmus+ at a minimum of €47.4 billion.

From 3–7 October 2025, I had the chance to join the European Youth Forum Seminar in sunny Mollina, Spain. The seminar brought together young people from all over Europe for five intense days of learning, reflection, and connection.
During our Autumn Seminar “Visibility through Creativity”, the participants Briana-Maria Boniș, Petra Štrajn, Iwo Miśkowiak, Jowan Nute and Aaron Clwyd Jones of the Creative Writing workshop came together to create something truly special – a zine titled Tŷ y Pobl, Volkshaus, Chi a’n Bobel, Narodni dom, Lëdowi dodóm, The People’s House.
You may have already noticed — YEN has a brand-new website! While the new site is fully functional, it’s still a work in progress. We’re currently focusing on updating individual pages and refining the content throughout the platform. Just like YEN itself, the website is available in both English and German.
YEN’s final major event of the year, the Autumn Seminar under the topic “Raise Your Voice”, took place in Pécs, Hungary, from the 4th to the 10th of November.
[:en]The Dikh He Na Bister is the largest youth event for members of the Roma and Sinti community in Europe. The event focuses mainly on the genocide committed by the Nazi regime against the Roma and Sinti minority in Auschwitz in 1944.
YEN‘s Easter Seminar took place in Budyšin/Bautzen, Germany, between 22nd-28th March on the theme “Know Your Rights!”. It was the second YEN event of 2024, after the first edition of the Activist Skills Training in Berlin in February. This year, the Easter Seminar was organised by YEN and Pawk e.
In 2024 YEN will turn 40, we want to celebrate this both with youth currently active in YEN but also with YEN Alumni (people who were previously active in YEN) We want to provide opportunities for you to re-connect with YEN and the friends you met there.
