That the German and Danish borderland is a melting pot of Danish and German culture, is particularly visible at traditional events such as Christmas. This is the case with my family as well.

European Youth Centre Strasbourg, 16 October 2017, by European Youth Foundation (EYF), Council of Europe   Why are you here at the EYCS today ? We are here for our last activity of our work plan 2017. The work plan is called “Building bridges” and this activity is called “Crossing Rivers”.

This year’s Easter Seminar took place from the 7th till the 13th of April in Durrës, Albania – in a hotel that was situated a mere 5 metres away from the beach. Our member organisation CTarmA – the Aromanians/ Vlachs from Albania, spared neither costs nor troubles to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

At the official opening of the Kick-Off Seminar in Trst, Italy in February, we were lucky to enjoy the interesting speech of Ksenija Dobrila, a representative of the Slovene minority in Italy. The speech gives a very good picture of the situation of the Slovenes in Italy, thus we share it with you here.

Minorities in Europe won a victory against the European Commission! The EU court judged that the Commission has to clearly define why they rejected the MSPI. Congratualtions to the citizens committee and the  Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN).
