Changemaker Program
About
The Minority Changemaker Programme was a three-month learning programme in spring 2020 (April-June 2020) at Jaruplund Højskole close to Flensburg, in the middle of the German-Danish border region.
The participants of the programme had a chance to combine academic lectures and ECTS credits with non-formal learning in a community of young Europeans.
The Højskole offered accommodation, food and an interesting course based on a special Nordic concept for adult education, which usually does not foresee academic grades. Through the Minority Changemaker Programme it was possible to obtain ECTS-points for further studies.
Together with other young Europeans we built friendships and networks for life. The focus of the programme was on national minorities, which was used as an example to discuss democracy in modern and diverse Europe.
