During our Autumn Seminar “Visibility through Creativity”, the participants Briana-Maria Boniș, Petra Štrajn, Iwo Miśkowiak, Jowan Nute and Aaron Clwyd Jones of the Creative Writing workshop came together to create something truly special – a zine titled Tŷ y Pobl, Volkshaus, Chi a’n Bobel, Narodni dom, Lëdowi dodóm, The People’s House.
It’s a collection of questions, poems, and reflections about minority identities and the sense of belonging, written in more than six different languages. Each page invites you to think, feel, and reflect on what it means to belong to a minority, of pain, loss and love, to question where and how you belong, and to share your story with others in the context of our seminar in Daruvar.
We invite you to explore The People’s House and let yourself be inspired by the creativity and voices of our participants.
This Zine was created by the participants of the Creative Writing workshop conducted by Demi Anter. Check out her work via: https://www.demianter.com/
You can use the zine only with naming Briana-Maria Boniș, Petra Štrajn, Iwo Miśkowiak, Jowan Nute and Aaron Clwyd Jones as authors and the Youth of European Nationalities and Demi Anter as editors.
