YEN will hold a hybrid Extraordinary General Assembly on 6 November 2021 at 9:30 am (CET).
The Board of the Youth of European Nationalities is pleased to invite you to an Extraordinary General Assembly in accordance with paragraphs 10.2 and 10.3 of the Statutes of YEN.
The reason for calling an Extraordinary General Assembly is the election of two Board positions, which remained vacant after the General Assembly in May 2021. Following Board positions are to be elected: Vice-President for External Relations and Convenor for Member Integration.
To continue the effective and successful work of YEN, the Board needs to be complete and we ask you to address these positions in your organisations and to motivate potential candidates for these positions. Please check the whole election procedure on our platform dedicated for the Extraordinary General Assembly.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the varying restrictions in place around Europe, the Extraordinary General Assembly will take a hybrid form: attendance will be possible both online and in-person in Lorient, Brittany (France).

Note: Relevant provisions of the Dutch and German law to mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for organisations such as ours, allow us to hold an online meeting this year.
Die JEV veranstaltet eine hybrid außerordentlichen Hauptversammlung am 6. November um 9:30 Uhr (CET).
Der Vorstand der Jugend Europäischer Volksgruppen (JEV) freut sich, Sie zu einer außerordentlichen Hauptversammlung gemäß den Paragraphen 10.2 und 10.3 der JEV-Satzung einzuladen.
Der Grund für die Einberufung einer außerordentlichen Hauptversammlung ist die Wahl von zwei Vorstandsposten, die nach der Hauptversammlung im Mai 2021 vakant geblieben sind. Folgende Vorstandspositionen sind zu wählen: Vizepräsident*in für Externes und Kommissar*in für Mitgliederintegration.
Um die effektive und erfolgreiche Arbeit der JEV fortzusetzen, muss der Vorstand vollständig sein. Wir bitten Euch deshalb, diese Positionen in Euren Organisationen anzusprechen und potenzielle Kandidat*innen für diese Positionen zu motivieren. Bitte informiert Euch über das Wahlverfahren auf unserer Plattform für die Außerordentliche Hauptversammlung.
Aufgrund der anhaltenden Covid-19-Pandemie und der unterschiedlichen Reisebeschränkungen in Europa wird die außerordentliche Hauptversammlung in einer hybriden Form stattfinden: Die Teilnahme wird sowohl online als auch persönlich in Lorient, Bretagne (Frankreich), möglich sein.

Each member organization of YEN can nominate up to three delegates to the GA. This nomination must be handed in in written form (with the use of this form) before the start of the GA. Because of the technical restrictions only one delegate from those nominated, can vote on behalf of the nomination organization.
The nomination must be signed by a legal representative of the organization (this could be board members or Office Staff, depending on each organization`s own regulations).
Extraordinary members shall also nominate their delegates, even though they have no voting rights. Extraordinary members and supporting members can participate in the GA fully, run in the elections, speak and submit proposal to the GA.
The General Assembly (GA) is open to the public. Those without nomination can participate as guests, but should contact office@yeni.org beforehand to access the GA.
To ensure that the GA can take place online without major delays, please send the delegation form to office@yeni.org until the 31st of October.

Jede Mitgliederorganisation der JEV kann bis zu drei Delegierte für die HV nominieren. Die Nominierung muss in schriftlicher Form (mit diesem Formular) vor dem Start der HV eingereicht werden. Aufgrund technischer Einschränkungen darf nur ein*e Delegierte*r (von den nominierten) im Namen ihrer Organisation abstimmen.
Die Nominierung muss von einer*m rechtlichen Vertreter*in der Organisation unterschrieben sein (dies kann ein Vorstandsmitglied oder ein*e Angestellte*r sein, abhängig von den Statuten der jeweiligen Organisation).
Außerordentliche Mitglieder sollen auch ihre Delegierte nominieren, auch wenn sie kein Stimmrecht haben. Außerordentliche Mitglieder und Gäste können an der HV teilnehmen, sich zur Wahl stellen, haben Rederecht und dürfen Vorschläge einbringen.
Die Hauptversammlung (HV) ist öffentlich. Interessierte ohne Nominierung können als Gäste teilnehmen, sollen sich jedoch im Voraus beim JEV-Büro melden (office@yeni.org) um den Zugang zur HV zu bekommen.
Damit wir die HV ohne große Verzögerung online durchführen können, bitten wir euch dieses Formular bis zum 31. Oktober an office@yeni.org zu senden.
