YEN’s General Assembly 2025 will take place in Opole/Oppeln, Polandand online: 17th April at 9:30 am (CEST).

We are looking forward to reporting what we did throughout the year (from March 2024 until early 2025), letting the GA vote to discharge the Board, adopting the Budget and informing you about the plans we came up with for the next year!

Also, we have to implement the elections of the Board:

The positions regularly up for election are the Vice President for Internal Relations, Vice President for External Relations, the Convenor for Member Integration and an Auditor (for the mandate 2025-2027).

Also up for election are the new Working group members (for one year).

The GA takes place within the frame of the Easter Seminar 2025, but those wishing to only attend the GA and not the Easter Seminar, are of course most welcome to do so.

This GA will be taking place in a hybrid form. Thus, participants of the Easter Seminar will join directly in Opole/Oppeln. Those who are unable to join in person can participate via video conference. You will also receive all the reports in advance, so you can read them in your own time at home.

Die Hauptversammlung der JEV 2025 findet am 17. April um 9:30 Uhr (CEST) in Opole/Oppeln, Polen, und online statt.

Wir freuen uns Euch berichten zu können, was wir im Laufe des Jahres (von März 2024 bis Anfang des Jahres 2025) gemacht haben und was wir für das nächste Jahr vorhaben. Zudem wird die Hauptversammlung über die Annahme des Budget entscheiden und andere Wahlen treffen um das Präsidium zu entlasten.

Darüber hinaus finden auch Wahlen des Vostands statt.

Zu den zu wählenden Positionen gehören der*die Vize Präsident*in für Internes, der*die Vize Präsident*in für Externes, der*die Kommissar*in für Mitglieder Integration, und eine*n Revisor*in (jeweils für das Mandat 2025-2027).

Gewählt werden auch die Mitglieder*innen der Arbeitsgruppen für ein Jahr.

Die Hauptversammlung findet im Rahmen des Osterseminars 2025 statt, aber diejenigen, die nur an der HV und nicht am Osterseminar teilnehmen möchten, sind natürlich herzlich willkommen.

Die diesjährige HV wird im Hybrid-Format umgesetzt. Teilnehmer*innen des Osterseminars werden vor Ort dabei sein. Personen die nicht vor Ort sein können, können sich gerne online zuschalten. Ihr werdet auch alle Berichte im Voraus erhalten, so dass ihr sie zuhause lesen könnt.

At the General Assembly on 28th March 2024, we will be electing a new Board and Working Group members for the Youth of European Nationalities. Here you can find more information on the election procedure.

The positions for election are:

  • President
  • Convenor for Communication
  • Convenor for Minority Rights and Politics
  • Treasurer
  • Auditor
    (all for the mandate 2024-2026)

Also elected will be:

  • Working Group Members for our three Working Groups (WG Member Integration, WG Minority Rights and Politics, WG Communication) for one year.

Each YEN member organisation can nominate up to three delegates to the GA. This nomination must be handed in in written form (with the use of this form) before the start of the GA. Because of technical restrictions only one delegate from those nominated, can vote on behalf of their organisation.

The nomination must be signed by a legal representative of the organisation (this could be Board members or Office staff, depending on each organisation’s individual regulations).

Extraordinary members shall also nominate their delegates, even though they have no voting rights. Extraordinary members and supporting members can participate in the GA fully, run in the elections, speak and submit proposal to the GA.

The General Assembly (GA) is open to the public. Those without nomination can participate as guests, but should contact office@yeni.org beforehand to access the GA.

To ensure that the GA can take place without major delays, please send the delegation form to office@yeni.org by the 20th March 2024.

Jede Mitgliederorganisation der JEV kann bis zu drei Delegierte für die HV nominieren. Die Nominierung muss in schriftlicher Form (mit diesem Formular) vor dem Start der HV eingereicht werden. Aufgrund technischer Einschränkungen darf nur ein*e Delegierte*r (von den Nominierten) im Namen ihrer Organisation abstimmen.

Die Nominierung muss von einer*m rechtlichen Vertreter*in der Organisation unterschrieben sein (dies kann ein Vorstandsmitglied oder ein*e Angestellte*r sein, abhängig von den Statuten der jeweiligen Organisation).

Außerordentliche Mitglieder sollen auch ihre Delegierte nominieren, auch wenn sie kein Stimmrecht haben. Außerordentliche Mitglieder und Gäste können an der HV teilnehmen, sich zur Wahl stellen, haben Rederecht und dürfen Vorschläge einbringen.

Die Hauptversammlung (HV) ist öffentlich. Interessierte ohne Nominierung können als Gäste teilnehmen, sollen sich jedoch im Voraus beim JEV-Büro melden (office@yeni.org) um den Zugang zur HV zu bekommen.

Damit wir die HV ohne große Verzögerung durchführen können, bitten wir euch dieses Formular bis zum 20. März 2024 an office@yeni.org zu senden.
