Call for webinar stars!

We are looking for young people from our Member Organisations to take part in a webinar as guests and talk about their minority, mainly in regards to discrimination experiences and intersectionality.

The format is simple:

a nice talk between two guests (you and a guest from another youth organisation of other minority groups) moderated by a YEN board member with a question round from the audience during a 60 min webinar on one evening in November or December 2020.

We are looking for three or four people willing to take part in this activity. We will also organise a preparation meeting with a briefing, where you get to know the other guest.

The objectives of this series of webinars are:

  • To create an online place for participants to explore the complexity of discrimination through the dialogue with other minority groups.
  • To provide an opportunity for participants to look beyond national, ethnic and linguistic minorities in order to better understand the similar challenges that different minority groups are facing.
  • To encourage participants to actively question the possibilities of possible solidarity with other minority groups.
  • To surface personal reflections about equality, diversity and inclusion.

Please let us know asap (latest 11 November 2020), if you would like to try yourself in this role! Contact office@yeni.org and tell us why you want to participate as a guest.
