Ingredients (for four to six servings):
- 1,5 l buttermilk
- 1 pack vanilla pudding for cooking
- 4-5 tbsp. sugar
- milk as needed
For semolina dumplings:
- 250 ml milk
- 100 g semolina
- 30 g butter
- 2 eggs
For the soup boil the buttermilk and add the vanilla pudding to thicken the soup. If the soup is too thick, add some milk. Season the soup with sugar and let it cool off.
For the semolina dumplings boil the milk and add the salt and butter. Gradually add the semolina and stir continuously till it starts to jelly. Let the mass cool down.
After cooling down add two eggs. Use two teaspoons to form the dumplings and put them into boiling salted water. Simmer the dumplings for approx. 10 minutes until they rise to the surface.
